Rolex Oyster Perpetual vintage Air-King 5500 with the very rare Arabic / 3,6,9 Dial. The very early Air King 5500’s had this rare dial variation with both Arabic 3,6,9 numerals and dagger/arrow head hour markers. Our watch features the much rarer "sword shaped hands" with blue steeled hands. It also featured a metal ‘Rolex’ Crown rather than being printed. Rolex Air-King 5500’s were made for over 35 years with the 1520 / 1530 calibre movement. During the period of production it is believed that there was importation laws that would restrict how many jewels could be fitted to some of the movements thus becoming quite rare and collectable. Powered by the older style 1530 movement with the Butterly rotor. Our immaculate and original example was manufactured in 1957 but not sold until 1959 with 374852 serial number. Astonishingly our beautiful watch still has its ORIGINAL box and papers with the papers indicating the watch was supplied new at Watches Of Switzerland (Birmingham, UK) on 12/9/1959. Please note the first digit is "8" on the papers which is possibly an error on the date of sale.

Vintage 1973 Enicar Sherpa Super Dive. 144 35 02. With the larger 40mm stainless steel case, plexiglass glass. Original dial with roulette date wheel at 3 o'clock original hands followed by black and orange checkerboard GMT hand. 24 hour inner bezel with legible black and white Arabic numerals. Original Sherpa 600 sea pearl emblem embossed on the case back, Enicar anti-slip dual crowns. This rare watch is powered by an automatic AR 1125 movement. This rare model was not used just for diving, its 24 hour timezone enabled it to be a perfects pilot watch as aviation soon soared in the late 1960s and early 1970s. amazingly our one owner example still comes complete with all of its original box, papers and booklet. We even have the original purchase receipt! Our 1 OWNER explorer was supplied new in April 1981 however the serial number dates the production to 1975 (408****) serial number. Serviced at Rolex in 1998. Our totally original example is absolutely impeccable as you can tell from the photographs, virtually unpolished! A true collectors piece!
Rolex Submariner 5513 Vintage 1967. Totally original meters first dialand matching hands. 40mm stainless steel case and fitted to its totally original riveted stainless steel Oyster bracelet with double folding clasp and 80 end pieces. Powered by a 1520 automatic movement. An original 5513 is certainly a rare watch however this "Meters First" is much rarer. The first dials started emerging in 1966 before it was discontinued shortly after in late 1969. Condition is also vital when investing into a vintage Rolex and this one is no exception, with its original bracelet, matching hands and dial it really is a stunning example! This rapidly appreciating watch has also become very popular amongst collectors for everyday wear on a NATO strap, not just to be kept in the safe at home! Rolex Vintage Submariner "Transitional" 16800. 40mm stainless steel case, original matte grey Swiss T25 dial with original bezel insert with creamy pearl and rare sapphire crystal glass. Fitted to a 78360 stainless steel bracelet with an additional nato (James Bond) strap with a stainless steel buckle. The Rolex 16800 was the very first sports watch to feature the scratch proof sapphire crystal glass nicknamed "transitional" whilst still sporting the vintage looking matte Swiss T25 dial. This dial was then changed to white gold indices in 1983. The 16800 is a true milestone watch in Rolex's history and is a must have piece for any collector especially with these models being particularly hard to find in such original condition! This transitional model only had a very short production run of 1979 - 1983.

Rolex GMT Master 1675 Cornino Pepsi vintage 1960. 40mm stainless steel case. Original Swiss T<25 matte grey dial with matching creamy hands and lume plots. Fitted to a stainless steel 78360 oyster bracelet with 580 end pieces. Our example has the much rarer "pointed" Cornino crown guards on the case as In the early 1960s they featured these very special and unusual pointed crown guards. Nicknamed the “El Cornino” by collectors for its horn-like appearance, The Cornino had a short production from 1959 to 1965 making it a huge rarity in today’s market. Finding El Cornino in this super sharp condition is virtually impossible with minimal polishing . The pointed crown guards are what make these examples so attractive and demand a premium above the normal crown guard models. Powered by a cal 1560 butterfly automatic movement. This 1675 is an extremely collectable model from the GMT range as they are only becoming harder and harder to find especially in such original condition as you can still see the original Rolex chamfers on the shoulders of the watch case proving the watch has had minimal polishing.
