Rolex vintage Air-King 5500 with an original ultra rare "3,6,9 Waffle Dial", 34mm stainless steel case, smooth bezel and a rare waffle dial which features a raised gold dagger head hour markers, 3,6, 9 Arabic gold numerals and original sword shaped hands. Fitted with an original riverted oyster link bracelet with double folding clasp which has no stretch whatsoever! Rolex Air-King 5500’s were made for over 35 years, during the first few years of production many unique and rare dial configurations were manufactured until they were set to standard uniformed dials in the 1970s. The 5500’s were produced with the 1520 / 1530 calibre movement, our watch is powered by the calibre 1530 movement. Our pristine and original example was manufactured in 1963 with a 971 serial number. This piece is the nicest and certainly the sharpest 5500 we have seen when you consider it left the production line 57 years ago and with the rarest dial configuration there is!

Rolex Explorer II with a stainless steel 40mm case, original Swiss T<25 black dial and hands which have just started to show a creamy patina and with the red arrow shaped GMT hand displaying the second time zone similar to the Steve McQueen Explorer II back in 1971. Brushed stainless steel bezel, date displayed at the 3 o’clock position and powered by an automatic movement. Fitted to a stainless steel brushed oyster bracelet with double folding clasp. Our example comes totally complete with all original boxes, stamped papers, calendar card, booklets, swing tag, translation booklet, Rolex UK service dated February 2007 and green leather wallet. UK Supplied new in 1998 with T68*** serial number. This particular example is one of the very last produced with the "Tritium" dial and with it being an original full set example it is certainly one for any collector.
