The 5513 also famous for its appearance in the James Bond movie (Live and Let Die) The 5513 Subs were introduced in 1962 and produced until 1990. This model is one of the more collectible Submariners with the simple matt charcoal dial.Our piece has that wonderful vintage look with rich creamy hands and hour markers.Fitted with its original fold over flat link stainless steel Rolex bracelet.The Vintage watch case was given crown guards in 1959 so that the winding crown is protected from impact when deep under the sea. They make for a more balanced look, but the older (‘naked’) models are the ones most sought-after,making this one of the more collectable models of the 5513.Whoever buys this piece will be astonished by its condition. Just zoom in on the photos and see the original rolex chamfers on the shoulders of the watch case, which shows its been a much loved and very rarely polished watch.These Vintage Subs are rocketing in value.
