Rolex’s latest edition to the Oyster Perpetual Yacht-Master made its debut at this years Baselworld watch fair. This sailors’ watch originally introduced in 1992, has undergone a major facelift in both its design and technology, now proudly wearing its new best feature the 'Blue dial' which was always the most admired dial choice on the ever popular bi-metal subs. The new Rolex 40-mm Gents Oyster case, of 904L stainless steel and platinum Rolesium bezel which rotates in both directions and now has a notched ring with 120 gradations,the bezel is made entirely of 950 platinum and has a smooth, sand-blasted finish,with highly polished raised numerals and indices. The hour markers on the vivid nautical blue dial are made of 18kt white gold and filled with Chromalight, Rolex's latest luminescent material that gives off a bright blue-tinted glow in the dark.The hands are also made of 18kt white gold with the sporty red seconds. Omega celebrated the fiftieth anniversary of the first James Bond film with the launch of a commemorative limited edition watch, the Omega Seamaster Co-Axial 300M James Bond 007 50th Anniversary.Our 36mm version was purchased new at Goldsmiths july 2014 and still as new. Complete with special limited edition boxes and papers (cards)tags, and unique ltd edt. numbered card for the watch. The case is made of stainless steel and feature the new ceramic bezel ring with diving scales in matt chromium nitride except for the number "50" which is in red, as a reminder that the watch is celebrating a very special 50th anniversary. Each version of the watch is presented on a classic brushed and polished Omega-patented screw-and-pin stainless steel bracelet. The lacquered black dial features a 007 monogram, a reminder that this watch was created to honour the film history of agent 007. The indexes are coated with white Super-LumiNova with a blue emission, allowing ease of reading in all light conditions. There is a date window at 3 o'clock. The coolest feature on this watch is the 'bullet' decoration on the rotor, that rotates with the motion of the oscillating weight. This unique design can be viewed through a sapphire crystal in the back of the case. The watch has a self-winding chronometer, Co-Axial escapement-equipped movement. This 16750 gmt is in amazing condition and has only had one owner and what a credit to him it is !!! The watch was supplied new in August 1984 in Guernsey at A P Roger ltd.(reciept included). The watch has one of the most fantastic patinated dial,s you’ll ever see. Matt charcoal colour with rich cream hands and matching hour markers, all original and no tarnishing to the hands whatsoever.original nicely faded pepsi bezel .Fitted with the classic original 78360 oyster bracelet. I have the original papers boxes,all three booklets, Green wallet,calender from 84 also a Rolex service receipt from Oct 2005. We even have the original purchase receipt from AP Roger,s dated 28/08/84..corresponding with there stamp on the Rolex guarantee papers.its a full set! and a very rare find indeed !! Another one like this will be rather hard to find! Whoever buys this piece will be astonished by its condition.
